We’ve hired MCG for our home remodeling in Staten Island a few month ago. Daniil is full of integrity, he’s honest, punctual, and is creatively competent. Moreover, I felt like everyone on the team genuinely appreciated me. They are going out of their way to make sure your project is completed to your satisfaction, and that is why I recommended to work with them as your residential general contractor in NYC! Our home is 27 years old and this was our first major bathroom and kitchen remodel. All staff from renovation contractor Modern Citi Group were very knowledgeable and made the whole process go smoothly. Modern Cit Group design crew took our old looking bathrooms and made them look like a luxury hotel bathrooms complete with all the beautiful amenities: custom tile, jacuzzi, steam shower, new toilets all beautifully and perfectly installed by Modern Citi Group team. We had issue with our wood floor as it was squeaking in certain parts of the living room and kitchen area. We also had a leak under our sink and the floor and the cabinets where all damaged and moldy. We explained to project designers our wishes and issues. They helped us design the kitchen area and made a visual representation of it so we can see which was really great. Modern Citi Group have done with new tile floor in the kitchen and wood floor in living room area, finished wall painting and installed new modern custom kitchen cabinets with marble countertop. Further, they took our girls 10' x 10' room and completed update it by all finishing works. You will be in really good hands hiring these guys. Got super lucky and found them on Yelp.

Experienced team, a lot of good insight throughout the project. Smart and sharp would be how I would describe them. The engineers were nice to work with and brought a lot of education to our whole team. Handled adversity well, finished everything on schedule and under budget which I thought was a miracle. I highly recommend them for any sort of major renovation or remodel.

I own a medical office in Brooklyn and we hired Modern Citi Group for a full office Remodel. Our office was very dated and we were in desperate need of renovation. We felt like updating the office would look better but also help office morale, inspire our team and cut down on turnover.

We used Modern Citi Group for a brand new restaurant renovation after hearing about them through a referral. They ended up being the right fit for us. We recently rented out additional commercial space to host private parties and to extend the kitchen in our existing restaurant located in Greenwich Village. We were looking for a construction company that could connect this private room with a restaurant and kitchen in a short period of time. So that the staff could easily move around and serve our customers well. Besides, we needed to build an extra private restroom in this new room. Fortunately, Modern Citi Group became the company we were looking for.  We contacted several general contractors, but Daniil from Modern Citi Group gave us his assessment and set an incredibly short frame. It was the best offer for us! A few days later, we finally approved the project with Daniil.  After that, Modern Citi Group team began its work. Initially, it was an empty rectangular room.  According to our commercial project, they built a soundproofing wall to separate the kitchen from the guest area.  And also built two passages: the first one service to connect the new and old kitchens, another entrance is located between the kitchen and the new dining room space. It is intended directly for staff and taking food out to customers in the private room. In addition, a small private restroom was built for guests. When the demolition process have been done, Daniil and his team started to renovate the new kitchen and the new dining area. They made hardwood installation floors for the guest area in the kitchen. We chose decorative wallpaper for wall decoration and private room. We approved hanging rectangular decorative frame mirrors to complement the decor and increase visual space. We pursued the same goal in the restroom. They were mirrors installed on the entire wall. The floor and walls of the new restaurant were finished with the gray ceramic tiles. Furthermore, Modern Citi Group installed a new heating system, which was very important for us during this winter season. They fully equipped us with the regulated lighting system.  After a month of renovation our new additional room for private parties begin to work. Modern Citi Group team was very professional and pleasant to work with. They have done a huge renovation/remodeling project within such a short timeline. I am proud to share a new dining room event with our customers. Daniel shows how a business should be run, he is very professional through the whole process from the beginning, responsive to our calls and emails and great quotation details by breaking down per items for things that we wanted to do for our project. After long search I've decided that Modern Citi Group is the type of construction company I will work with to renovate my bathroom in a really old building (from the 70's) in Queens. On my first call we schedule a walk-through meeting with a project manager Matvei. He organized all my wants based on the budget we agreed and presented to me in a very detailed estimate right on the next day. We continued to communicate and discuss the final changes for a few more days and I ended up signing a contract with home remodeling contractor Modern Citi Group for a full bathroom remodel. I especially liked the communication with Matvei, as he always was quick to respond throughout the project. He and his designers team also helped with material selection and explained the process thoroughly throughout the entire time. We had plans of remodeling our kitchen with new granite countertops and backsplash.  So, we did some researching on companies in our local area that we would feel comfortable with. I'm so glad to found residential general Contractor Daniil from Modern Citi Group for our kitchen remodel project. After meeting with the design team, they quickly turned our boring kitchen into the vision we had wanted for quite some time. We know from past experience that when it comes to construction or home remodeling it's best not to look for bargains. Too many things can go wrong when dealing with the wrong people. It can end up costing even more money to have it redone properly not to even mention all the aggravation. Daniil is the best licensed contractor we've ever used. I hired this company to renovate a bathroom in my New York City apartment. This company did everything that they promised to do. They were professional , courteous and more importantly honest. I have dealt with many contractors, but Come N Done really exceeded my expectations. They were on the job site every day. Always punctual. And always maintained a very transparent and clear communication channel. There were never any surprises. It speaks a lot about them and their character. I would highly recommend using this company.

I remodeled my small kitchen (10x10) in mid-December and tore down the wall and opened it up into the dining room. Daniil was my main contact person. I could tell the passion of knowledge this young man has. My every question was answered with honesty. Modern Citi Group team set to work immediately after we organized the whole project with Daniil. They gutted the kitchen and installed new floor tile, backsplash, cabinets, new bar counter and recessed lighting. The transformation of my new kitchen was amazing! We hired Modern Citi Group to do a gut renovation of our 3 bedroom prewar apartment in manhattan (full electrical rewiring, replacement of all plumbing, demolition of walls, re-plastering/painting all walls, refinishing hardwood floors, remodeled completely 2 bathrooms and kitchen, pocket door installation, closet install etc.). Quality of the work was great and were able to start the project a week after agreement which I was pleasantly surprised.  All permits and paperworks were done a timely manner without any issues. The team helped along the way to make the project go smoothly with my building and managing office. A couple of issues came up along the way and the team was able to resolve all of them pretty fast. On the negative side, a few issues came up but can be easily resolved if you consider them for your project:

-Timeline was not kept due in part of my building since they had mechanical issues with the elevators and extra work needed to be done to be compliant with the building requirements but towards the end of the project, the team was promising deadlines that they couldn't meet. The completion date kept being pushed back.

-The worksite was dirty and finished work was unprotected (tiles/cabinets/appliances etc). I would highly recommend Modern Citi Group for any type of renovation (small or large) as they did a great job on our gut reno. Their team is well qualified in every field of renovation.

Found this company thru Craigslist. Daniel got back to me really quickly and the next day he came to give me the estimate. I had a few contractors give me quotes and he worked with me to give me the best price for my kitchen renovation. He was professional and addressed any concerns I had throughout the project.

We hired Daniel and his team to remodel our kitchen. If you could even call what we had a kitchen. He was willing to work with a limited budget which was nice. We did have to stay on top of the details but Daniel was a pleasure to work with and very responsive and made any changes we needed. We loved the finished project. We would have given him 5 stars if he only did the kitchen but we gave him 4 stars because we had him refinish our wood floors and the guys he contracted it out to did not do a good job. Daniel of course had a different guy come and fix the floors. He said he wasn't going to use those guys again. So all In all we were happy with the finished product. Tibor the one who worked on our unit most of the time was really good. He was neat/clean and pleasant to work with.

Quite sure I hired a magician in New York because these guys from Modern Citi Group and are 100% magic! My building in Queens was built in the 1990s and had a bathroom was never remodeled. I wanted it to be completely gutted and redone and I knew it would be a major undertaking. Well I must say after 3 contractors we finally found a company that's honorable, reliable AND knows what they're doing!! Our nightmare started back in February when our dishwasher sprung a leak and ruined our laminate floors and decided to replace the floors with real wood and also remodel kitchen and lighting system.  We live in a condo in Queens so there are rules and regulations to follow and that's excluding the city codes. Licensed contractor Daniil from Modern Citi Group in New York put me at ease and truly made the process as seamless as possible. I have been longing for a contemporary kitchen, bathroom and flooring. So after getting quotes from various contractors, I decided to go with renovation contractor Modern Citi because they are a local (in Brooklyn like me) licensed contractor company and they offered me the best price (it doesn't mean the cheapest. This is my second renovation project and I know how things go when the project is started. You start seeing change orders, additions and extras - this is all because low end contractors don't provide itemized proposals or details from the beginning. So this was my biggest criteria, and while I was expecting maybe a 2-page proposal with details - I RECEIVED THE 23-PAGE BREAKDOWN without even mentioning this upfront. Later on when I told Daniil about this he said  he's aware many homeowners are dealing with this issue. This is the type of transparency every business, especially a remodeling contractor should look for). After our first site meeting with project manager Matt and Daniil who joined over the video, they presented very creative & modern ready-design solutions for my bathroom renovation and kitchen remodel. They offered a few different design options to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic this idea is. Their concept representation of ready remodel solution is the easiest way to make the entire process of home remodeling very enjoyable and absolutely stress-free. The design team from Modern Citi helped me a lot to save the time since I did not have to be selecting and ordering every item by myself, one by one. They provided a big list of different material options, with pictures and prices.  Another thing I liked about working with contractor Modern Citi Group was that everything was in writing. There were no surprises and they did everything (even more) that was agreed upon. More importantly, every Friday I received completion reports with the description and pictures of what had been completed . Every step of the process was absolutely perfect.Completion date was not an issue either; all of the work was completed by the agreed upon timelines. Not only did they keep the timeline, but the completed work was beautiful! Residential general contractor Modern Citi Group will be the only one company I will go to for any future renovations.

I did a decent amount of research before deciding on a Remodeling Contractor for our 5000 square foot office building in Williamsburg. After reading reviews, speaking with some of my contractor friends and vetting a few companies over the phone, I ended up going with Modern Citi Group. They made me more comfortable after speaking to a few of their different team members and actually going into their office to meet a few of the architects' face to face. To jump ahead now that the job has been completed, we are extremely satisfied with the results. Artem was the project manager and he was amazing to work with. His attention to detail and veteran experience kept me calm. The process was a big learning experience for me and our in-house staff really enjoyed the whole journey. They taught us a lot about design and guided us on a lot of the big stylistic decisions. It was a very in depth job and a few areas that really impressed me were the conference room construction and the office furniture fabrication. We are thrilled with how our office looks now and we feel like it will help us to hire more employees and grow our business. Happy to find a local, Brooklyn General Contractor with this much experience and expertise.

We finished remodeling our Restaurant in the Bronx this summer and we used Modern Citi after hearing a lot about them from a few friends of mine. It has always been hard for us to find a solid Remodeling Contractor in the Bronx. This was a big Renovation so I wanted the personal referral from someone I trust. They ended up being a great fit with us. I know a renovation is always stressful and this one was stressful in particular because of COVID and specific deadlines that we had in place. Their team was very good at navigating every obstacle that came up and they kept a clear head which is not something I can say for myself. You could tell that they have done a lot of jobs like this because they were there every day putting in the hard work and they were not rattled by any of the adversity or deadlines. They helped me to not pull my hair out and their ability to renovate this place so nicely and completely change the look and feel of it under those tight deadlines was very impressive to me. If we continue to expand, this will be the subcontractor that I use.

Our restaurant was long needed to repair toilets for customers. We are located in Midtown East, so we met with multiple  independent contractors last month who work in the area, but Daniil seemed like the perfect person to work with. After first meeting with him we chose Modern Citi Group for our renovation project.

Daniil spent a lot of time with us to understand our remodeling needs and prepare us well for the days ahead. He provided excellent design suggestions to reorganized our toilet stall to private restroom's partitions. He also was picking out all the finished material for us. The best and most important part of this project was that one restroom was always active so our costumers could use it during the renovation. Modern Citi Group crew worked nightly and always cleaned up before the restaurant opened. Daniil and his team's communication was super prompt and effective.

Modern Citi Group performed a huge and outstanding job within one calendar week. They completely demolished old restroom partitions and fixtures, built new privacy cabins, installed modern doors, new porcelain tile on walls and floors, replaced toilets, wall mounted sinks, mirrors, lights, installed new doors, painted walls, ceilings. All the electrical and plumbing work was handled by Modern Citi Group.  There was no surprises or hidden charges. Now, the work is all done. The finishing is incredible perfect!
